Men and women who have served in the military know the oath they take, both officer and enlisted, contains the words, “I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same...,” an oath solely to the US Constitution. But what they probably don’t know is an addition to the oath is being written…something along the lines of, “…and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the union bosses appointed over me, according to the directives of the presiding union.”
The proposed communistic unionization of the US Armed Forces is an effort to turn military members’ loyalties from the Constitution to a union chain of command. Its underlying intent is to bring about anarchy. As we remember our brothers and sisters who have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice so we can have Liberty, let us also remember that this ultimate sacrifice is not only worthy of our honor, but also of OUR daily sacrifice and devotion.

People are,by nature, fickle and short sighted. But it’s because of patriots who have been courageous and committed to a future beyond themselves, that our nation is one focused upon Liberty. History is written on the papyrus of the victor, penned in the blood and toil of those that stood to fight.
For those that stood to fight…… You fought against an insurmountable foe in the Revolution, turned a world power on its heels then gave us the Constitution that we have today.
