As people are looking for the reason of why the court decision came down in the way it did from the supreme court justice that seemed to have the most stringent constitutional sense look to the progressive play book.  As we have seen the progressive scourge take on the mantra of “fundamentally changing the United States of America” it has not been the old adage of “One step back and two steps forward” it has been more of the Blitzkrieg strategy of Go Go Go! Turning the saying into “3-5 steps forward then take a step back if you have to”. As there campaign slogan says itself “Vorwarts”…. Oh wait a second, that is the German Socialists party slogan from early 1940’s under HITLER only now translated into English as FORWARD.

Now we are told to think that this is a Good thing that we are to have a motivated base and win an election or two. We think that this is a blessing that Roberts bestowed upon us, a gift. We always want to find a silver lining. We want to believe that somewhere in him was the thought that he was going to energize the base and make everything ok. In reality this is equivalent to being FORCED TO EAT YOUR GUTS THEN BEING TOLD ITS STEAK.

His Summary was political and Forward, (Vorwarts), leaning, I have heard people on the big news stations say that he did it because he wanted to stop the violence that could follow if he ruled otherwise and to save the integrity and reputation of the courts…. And they agreed with it! The thing that made my blood run cold was that the talking heads were ok with this. What have we become? I have a novel idea……   DO YOUR JOB! To paraphrase President Clinton, "IT’S ABOUT THE CONSTITUTION STUPID"!

I think we can all understand that we have to do jobs or missions or anything in our lives that are not going to be popular with the people around you and you will be looked at with utter distain and dislike but at the end of the day you “did what you had to do” because those are the values of which you have chosen to live your life or the rules of your job and you had to be the grown up in the room and make the hard decision. These are some of the things that have kept America on its feet through some of the worst times in its history. We have made the right decision when everyone else wants the easy way out or the quick fix. A Supreme Court Justice has rules to abide by – uphold the Constitution and do not to fall prey to judicial activism…… simple right?

Now we are looking to the election with renewed vigor in out hearts and a possible positive outcome for the Republican hopefuls, we see a little bit of the Arizona law on immigration (Roberts was the dissenting vote there as well) stand and we let that go as well and we have our marching orders for the next few months as we did in the 2010 elections. This is all well and good BUT…..

Back in the early 1900’s a Progressive President, Woodrow Wilson changed the Supreme Courts way of ruling from FOUNDING PRINCIPLE to precedence. With this is mind, lets look at what just happened here. It seems like the Mandate was a penalty which is now opined by Roberts as a tax. The President himself as well as the ObamaCare bill has a section in it saying its NOT a tax as well as the word “penalty” just became the word “Tax” and we will use the word tax now for penalty instead of mandate right?

A mandate is something that compels or requires you by law to do something or buy something the government deems necessary for you. In essence it is saying “In order for you to be an American you have to do/buy this”. This is pre-emptive inclusion or exclusion.

A Penalty is a repercussion for not fulfilling an order or demand.

A Tax is to impose a financial charge or other levy upon a taxpayer (an individual or legal entity) by a state or the functional equivalent of a state such that failure to pay is punishable by law. More formally it is defined as a "pecuniary burden laid upon individuals or property owners to support the government, a payment exacted by legislative authority." A tax "is not a voluntary payment or donation, but an enforced contribution, exacted pursuant to legislative authority" and is "any contribution imposed by government whether under the name of toll, tribute, tillage, gabel, impost, duty, custom, excise, subsidy, aid, supply, or other name."

Start with a something that the government wants to compel you to do…. They can’t make or tell you to do something but in the grand fashion of this Administration and the Progressive Ethos they will slow-roll and edge you toward what you want incrementally as the “Nudge” of Cass Sunstein would dictate. Now they can’t tell you to do something but they can penalize you for doing something. We have long seen ObamaCare for what it is - government intrusion into your body. It may not be able to preemptively require you to get insurance but what happened with the shift of phrasing and redefining it is that it can now Tax you because you did not do something. This is a Mandate by other means, they are going to now Tax (penalize) a lifestyle that they deem unhealthy or unfit for an American and not give you health insurance which translates into not getting the care that you need.

This has put ramparts between you and your doctor, they have stepped in to make the rules and to levy the taxes (penalties) on the things that they do not want. How long before they levy taxes (penalties) on being fat? Does anyone see Medically Legislated Equal Outcome here? I see not only a forced Equal Outcome with redistribution of monetary wealth, but now they are forcing the redistribution of health. And our government will now legislate you are to appear…their notion of health. What is next? Shall we be compelled to purchase and wear the Nehru jackets Mao and Stalin liked? Yes, to some it is not a choice but to most it is a lifestyle, a CHOICE…… Americans have a right to do as they please.

Looking Forward (Vorwarts), SCOTUS’ ObamaCare decision has opened a Pandora’s Box of legal precedence that will flood the system with Taxes (Penalties). The Progressive Right and Progressive Left politicians will push laws and legislation to ultimately control you with something that resembles a “choose your own adventure” book of old,…. You can choose what you want to do but the repercussions for doing so is already written by the author and (the Taxes and PENALTIES) will be catastrophic…now turn to the page specified and see. Instead of a pre-emptive requirement as in “you will do this, it is a requirement” it will now be a LEGISLATIVE THREAT where the lawmakers dictate “You can legally make this choice BUT if you do you will pay dearly”.

This is the same Sunsteinian logic turned to legislation where you, the previously sovereign individual previously free to control his or her own body,  will be forced to accept  what the government determines to be the “smart choice” for your body. And this decision goes beyond ObamaCare, because  the Supreme Court has now set a precedent that within a couple years or a couple administrations , (if our country survives that long), gives the government ability to tax (penalize) the Citizenry based on  lifestyles and choices. And should you decline to abide by the government’s view of what is the “correct” choice in your life, you will be penalized.

How long before they turn it toward the rest of the economy and the rest of their wants and desires as progressive legislators further seek to dominate and destroy the American spirit?
In this time of economic decline and uncertainty, will you be able to pay the arbitrary Taxes (Penalties)?

How long till the Debtors Prisons are reinstated and the IRS becomes a huge enforcement arm because they answer to no-one?

Do not be short sighted on this friends, look where this leads. We are programmed for short sighted remedies and this COLD CIVIL WAR has been going on close to a century now. We did not start it and will probably not see the end of it, unless something catastrophic happens within our lifetimes.

Not only are we patriots charged with knowing what our history is, we are to know where we came from, what is against us and on what trajectory are we?  We now have to lead whatever dreams may come from inspiring patriotism in a recently (hopefully) awakened Giant.

Know that America is on the precipice and the WORLD IS HOLDING THEIR BREATH.
