The UN Arms Trade Treaty should alarm any liberty-loving citizen. Every UN treaty requires the participating country to turn over its sovereignty regarding that particular issue. An agreement with the UN removes the autonomy of the nation and the independence of the people to make their own laws free of UN control and dictate. The UN Arms Trade Treaty is no exception. It is meant to regulate the sale and possession of small arms, both within and without the nation. Patrick Henry gave this clear warning in his day,

Gun haters and legislators are trying to twist the Aurora massacre into an excuse for more Gun Control. But when the liberals squelch our Second Amendment Rights, they are creating victims and putting all our lives at risk.

As some of you know, I occasionally run a series of posts entitled “Stupid Liberal Hate Mail” which chronicles some of the ridiculous rants that reach my email box. This most recent one, from someone calling herself Connie Kaplan is too important not to share.

There was a time in this country when most people admired the wealthy. We wanted to emulate them. We knew we had a chance to become them because we lived in America, the golden land of opportunity where anything was possible if you work hard. Men like John D Rockefeller, Cornelius Vanderbilt, John Jacob Astor, Henry Ford, Sam Walton and George Eastman were captains of industry who helped forge the Industrial Revolution that brought America from a largely agrarian society to an industrial powerhouse. We were proud of them, we wanted to be them, and we were grateful for the things they did for America. We look to them for leadership and guidance. We respected what they've accomplished.

But somewhere along the way this changed. Somehow a very different ideology was injected into our culture. A certain group of people, slowly over time, changed our culture from confident optimism that anything is possible in America to a mindset that it was unfair and unjust for some people to achieve more than others....

ALERT: The Disclose Act (s. 3369) has been resurrected and it will further destroy the remnants of our 1st Amendment and diminish the power of our grassroots groups!

It is always shocking to me that those we elect are absolutely clueless to the true government that they were elected to support and defend. Day in and day out we hear our representatives refer to our government as a “democracy.” Our founders did not establish a democracy, they established a republic. At the conclusion of the Constitutional Convention in 1787, Benjamin Franklin was asked by a women referred to as Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia, “Well, Doctor, what have we, a republic or a monarchy?” It is said that Dr. Franklin, without hesitation, said, “A Republic, ma’am, if you can keep it.” Here we are 225 years later and our own representatives do not know the correct answer to this question.

And here we are, once again, with the resurrection of the Disclose Act of 2012, and its title tells us all we need to know to...

I have seen Congressman Paul Gosar  (R-AZ) speak in person a few times. He seemed a likable enough fellow and he said the right things that made me think he's one of us. He gets it. I heard him speak about the affordable care act and the need to repeal it. I have heard him say we need to fix what's wrong with the healthcare system, but I didn't hear him say replace Obamacare. I heard him say that he disagreed with the Supreme Court ruling, but we could still repeal it, there's still time.

I have heard him talk about illegal immigration, border security, over taxation, corruption, programs and federal employees that waste of taxpayers’ hard-earned money and the importance of family in the American landscape. I admit that he had me pretty well convinced that he was on the side of the constitutional conservative. Heck I would've loved to sit down and had a beer with the guy. He seemed like a pleasant fellow. (On a side note, I make it a point never to sit down and have a beer with a progressive...

Men and women who have served in the military know the oath they take, both officer and enlisted, contains the words, “I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same...,” an oath solely to the US Constitution.  But what they probably don’t know is an addition to the oath is being written…something along the lines of, “…and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the union bosses appointed over me, according to the directives of the presiding union.”

The proposed communistic unionization of the US Armed Forces is an effort to turn military members’ loyalties from the Constitution to a union chain of command.  Its underlying intent is to bring about anarchy.  The plan is presently being seriously contemplated by this administration, and if necessary, will be implemented by way of presidential executive order.  The “idea” is to...

As people are looking for the reason of why the court decision came down in the way it did from the supreme court justice that seemed to have the most stringent constitutional sense look to the progressive play book.  As we have seen the progressive scourge take on the mantra of “fundamentally changing the United States of America” it has not been the old adage of “One step back and two steps forward” it has been more of the Blitzkrieg strategy of Go Go Go! Turning the saying into “3-5 steps forward then take a step back if you have to”. As there campaign slogan says itself “Vorwarts”…. Oh wait a second, that is the German Socialists party slogan from early 1940’s under HITLER only now translated into English as FORWARD.
